Photo sizes/resizing

S Allen wrote:The reason I had put a limit on file sizes is because some of the files are so big you have to scroll around to see the entire picture plus it distorts the frames of the forum. I temporarily removed the limit and will look for a better way to resize pictures. I am not trying to make it difficult here but need to keep some control.
I fully agree with your decision. I would limit the size to 800x600. If people want to post hurking huge pics, they can do it on the photo sites that can handle that, and provide thumbnails and/or a link to their album.

Resizing a photo takes me less than a minute in MS Paint.

There are many ways to resize photos but the easiest is using a online tool such as this onePhotoPad Photo Editing Software

I use my phone to take most of my pictures these days. I just email them to myself and on an Android phone it offers you several options to resize before you send. For the most part that is what I use. I am sure an iPhone has similar capabilities. The online tools are really easy for the not so savvy user.
