Those going to Solvang from a distance might want to get a nice collection of tunes together for the drive. I will be loading as many as I can in the Ipod for the bluetooth speaker. 8)

Good GOD I need this song and my car...

"Back in the saddle" Aerosmith...

It's always the first song played when she rolls out of hibernation. I'd do it now but she's still under the knife... Can't even fire up the stereo...

"Henry" New Riders of The Purple Sage,

Now he's going down the mountain
Going, fast, fast, fast
And if he makes it this time
It's going to be his last

Be nice if we could post some of the music here, but that would probably be some kind of illegal file sharing

I don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but I've always thought "LA Woman" was a great driving song and I don't even live in California, though I was stationed in the Bay are in 81 and 82.

Your right Pebbles, you do have to go back quite a ways for that one. I think that time (early seventys) was the highlight of the fusion of rock and country. Bringing the steel guitar and banjo (amongst others) really made a unique sound. It seems country has just turned into rock, and I don't know where rock went. If you'll pm me your address I'll burn you a copy of the album. .......Mike
