Looking for some roadster help in PA

Post by nking79 »

I'm looking to try to start up my dad's Roadster in Oct/Nov, which is in PA, just south of Harrisburg. If anyone knows a garage in the area or feels like lending a hand I would very much appreciate it. I would do it myself, but have never touched a car before and I don't want to mess the thing up.

Oh get your hands dirty!!! That is only way you learn. It not as fearful as you have made out to be in your head.

Have you dad or buddy help out. The best father son quality time is getting under the hood. Him passing down whatever knowledge, experience, and wisdom and then you spring boarding from that. You can even spend some time with together at Sears getting yor first tools set if you don't have one.

Buy a few manuals. Dean at Fairlady has a pretty good reader for $20. Buy an old Chilton's Roadser repair manual online (or any reasonble facsimile). I got mine for $10 on EBay.

You can doit!!!
