Trip odometer location on early vs later roadsters

Trip odometer location on early vs later roadsters
I didn't realize this but it looks to me that '68-70 has the trip odometer at the top of the speedometer while the early cars (not sure about '67 1/2) have it at the bottom. I'm not that familiar with the early cars. Jim
