Rear brake drum to disc conversion

Post by Riverrinker »

Sorry if there is already a thread on this but I was wondering how difficult and how expensive would converting the rear drums of 69’ 2000 over to discs. I know the drums are attached to the rear axles so I assume it wouldn’t be easy. But if anyone has like a conversion kit or anything that would be great.

Drum has more better braking ,except if overheated ,but the alloy solves that

But if you switch to discs in the rear, the entire braking system is readily serviceable. That's a great upgrade.

Don't forget to attend to the RPV in the M/C for rear drums, it needs to be removed for a disc setup
