Does anyone know what battery brands the roadsters were delivered with? Photos a plus.

Yuasa was the factory battery in Roadsters and early Z’s. IIRC, JDM Car Parts sells a kit you can use to replicate the look.

That battery looks great!
Not sure you have enough yellow w/white wire to make it.

Here is my attempt at reproducing a period correct (not an actual OEM copy) battery. The sticker on the side is better depicted in the second photo. The top is a plastic Battery Topper. I find the look of a modern battery in vintage car a bit of a let down.

At the moment I am using the group 51 battery since the original group 53 is expensive and useless with only 240cca.

When the kit becomes available I'll probably put one on.

Something interesting I learned from my Japanese owners manual.

The 66-67 JDM RHD cars did not use the skinny group 53 battery. It clearly shows what looks like a group 24.

Why does it rotate these photos?
