I recently purchased and installed a new tonneau cover from Robbins. On their web site they recommend using 303 vinyl cleaners and protectants. None of the local auto parts outlets stock 303 products or were willing to order it for me. A quick search of similar products and reviews showed Chemical Guys VRP (Vinyl Rubber Plastic) protectant consistently at the top or near the top of all products tested. The local AutoZone outlet had it in inventory. Keep in mind when viewing the photo that this is a new cover, not an old faded cover. It looked very nice before using the product but I was looking for some additional protection from UV and water repellency. I was quite suprised and pleased with the results. Since the VRP is a water based product, there is no residue to attract and capture dust. Application is simple and quick.
Overall, the product exceeded my expectations.
