Low Windshield Dash Pads

Post by Halfyear67 »

Has anyone received any news regarding the possible production of the low windshield dash pads? Last I heard production was suppose to start in June.
Thanks,
Bill

Nothing but radio silence.

I have 2 intact pads that will clean up nicely with a vinyl recover. I'm asking $250 each or $400 for the pair if you are interested. Located in Seminole Florida.

Dean took reservations for another run probably 9 months back? But he was actively trying to sell his Mold / Manufacturing rights going back a couple years or thereabouts . It appears someone took him up on the purchase of the pad Manufacturing and the delivery date and cost are not known. You can still put in a purchase request from his site which is forwarded to the new manufacturer.

I have grown tired of the repeated threats to build and sell more.

I have one in good restorable condition left if you are interested.

Ed,

After I took reservations to, once again make the dash, I was approached by someone who was interested in taking over production of the dash. He saw the numbers and hundreds of requests, paid me for the tooling, picked it up and began work when two serious life events happened with his family members that has required him to take care of their health challenges. So, there is no threat here. Just things happening in life. I continue to take requests for him until he produces the part, takes all new photos of the product and creates his own web-site. Hopefully it works out for you all. He is a good guy and doing his best.

Dean, thanks for looking into and responding to this. We've all had life issues and trip-up(s) from family and vendors, as you say: "happenings in life." I think many members of this community will eventually benefit and many were wondering if a solution was in-the-works. Good to know. Appreciated, Dave
