Road Atlanta is a comin!!

There will be a huge contingency of Zs at turn 10 based on information at www.georgiazclub.com. They're giving 100 cars as their number. They also acknowledge the expected Roadster attendence at about 40. I would guess the Roadsters will be given a spot nearby, but who really knows?
I'm going to shoot for camping in area B near where all this action is. We've been told the track opens to non-racers at 7PM Thursday. We plan to be there. A couple of guys from our group who have been before said they think it may open earlier.
This is going to be a fantastic weekend. For those of you who haven't been to Road Atlanta, get ready to smile for an entire weekend. Your face will hurt on Sunday, guaranteed. The place is magical. I've only been four times and have never been to Mitty, so I'm no local, but every time I go through the gate I feel like I've finally returned home.
Can't wait to meet you all. We're going to remember this weekend for the rest of our lives.

Well, I am searching for a trailer to haul a Roadster up. Neither is up to my standard for that long of a trip. Oh well...
If I cannot find a trailer, I may be in the white wonder wagon (F250), or maybe a rental if I find a flight.

Well, airfare is insane. The trailer fell through. The U-haul trailer (car hauler) does not work well for a 1500 (track is so narrow in the rear), so it looks like I will be in the beast. The roadsters get to stay home with momma.
I will check into a tow dolly, but that is not a first choice...

Russell's car ran like a scalded ape. My guesstimate was 127 mpg. What a car!!!

We left early today (Sunday). Weather was looking nasty, so we thought we should get out. Hopefully we didn't miss anything big. The drive back to Nashville was pretty tough. I came pretty close to falling asleep a couple of times. Not a good thing when operating a 12,000 lb rig. Glad to be home safe.
Not sure how many Miller Lites I had over the weekend, but it has to be a record. Surprisingly, I felt great today. Less filling I guess.
But OMG! What a weekend! I left 90% of my stuff at the shop when we got home, so I can't even post a few photos. I took literally hundreds of shots and some video. Will post some tomorrow.
Russell - we were the guys on the left right after turn 9. I got some good photos of your Saturday AM race. In one you're passing a 510.
I'll DEFINITELY be going back next year. I'm totally exhausted, but it's that good kind of exhaustion that makes you smile.
