Had made some new distributor base plates since they all wear out on the 3 spots were the bigger ball bearing is turning as you can see on the old plate. The new plate with 6 new ball bearings, 3 small ones and 3 bigger ones, is now turning smooth without hesitation.
Will test it on the distributor tester in the next weeks if I can find some time.
