67.5 wiper blades

Post by spl310 »

I thought that I had asked about them here, but I couldn't find my post. I guess that it didn't post. Anyway I asked on Facebook and only had one solid answer in my question of what to use for replacement blades for my 67.5. I checked the vendors websites, but came up dry. I would have happily bought the OEM, but couldn't find any, so I did some research. The original Everwing blade is a 10" blade, and the arm has a bayonet mount that is roughly 1/4" wide. I could find boatloads of blades to fit the 62-67 that have a narrower arm with a wrist action mount. I searched every 10' blade that I could find. I found some modern 10" blades for the rear of SUVs that may work, but they were black - yuck! That was the last resort, so the search continued. Those that know me know that I love to find solutions to problems. After measuring and searching, I have found a replacement that fits perfectly! They are the 10" stainless blades for a 1971 MGB (yeah I know) just make sure that they are for the 7mm wide arm. I just installed them and they fit like a glove! One of the part numbers is GWB141Z. They are listed as satin, but they are a polished stainless - just not mirror polish. I hope that this helps some other 67.5 owners.

Excellent detective work, Sid!

Thanks for posting your findings, as I will be needing these soon (I hope).

Cheers,
