Rear vertical track weatherstrip length?

Rear vertical track weatherstrip length?
This is a minor point but what is the length of the rear vertical track weatherstrip? The originals were shorter than the steel track and cut on angles. If I cut and glue the entire length and square the ends, will it work and fit?

Anybody have the answer to this question? I read the post on how to install the windows and door hardware and it only makes mention of making the inner window vertical track a bit longer, it makes not mention of the vertical outer track? I would like to get my doors finished? Lol.

When I did mine I cut them the same length as the channels, both front and rear, on each door.
