Steering wheel ignition key cover question??

Post by Macidcrook »

Hi Y'all,

Is the steering column cover on a 70 srl, the one that covers the ignition switch assembly, a clam shell style? is it removable with out removing the steering wheel? i know removing the safety bolts on the rear wont be a problem but i don't want to ruin the cover either.

Thanks in advance

Yes. There are tiny phillips screws going upwards to the upper half of the shell. You can find the screw access on the bottom half.
I want to say there are three screws.
