Car Covers

Post by unklpat »

I thought I might let you know of what appears to be a killer deal on a 100% waterproof 5-layer car cover. It is at Carcover.com and has a lifetime warranty. The layer that touches the car is fleece. They are 60% off, and if you enter USA15 as the promo code it will be $127.49 shipped to your door. The one I ordered for my firebird looked fine. I figured I can keep in my trunk until I can afford to install my top. Pat

I ordered one last night... got the same pricing. What a bargain.

BUT... then I immediately realized I had given the wrong shipping address (I need to send this to my brother's shop).

I sent a comment through the site letting them no of my mistake and the new address.

I woke up this morning to a confirmation email that they updated the address, and shortly after I got an email that the cover had shipped.

That is uncommonly great customer service!

Seems like a solid company, and I'm trusting Pat on the quality.

Thanks again for the tip, Pat.

Wait, wow. I didn't know there was venison involved. If I order a cover, does Pat give me venison. Sounds good. Pat lives close to me, so I'm sure he'll bring it by. Awesome.

You were a mile from his house last week. If you would have called him like I suggested, he might have cooked it for you. My cover gets here Saturday. Pat

I ordered a cover for my 69 2000 Wednesday, already got notified that it has been shipped. The price was $127 and change delivered. Hopefully it will be a quality cover? I give my opinion when I receive it, finger Crossed. Bob

Got my cover Sunday, looks good. I'll put in the trunk as insurance against inclement weather on road trips. Pat

I tested my cover over the weekend. The inside is not quite as soft as I had hoped and I think it could scratch the paint if I’m not careful. I too will only use it in an emergency and the price was reasonable so I rate it as an OK purchase.

I think it will be fine. If I was using it while traveling on a trailer it might be different. I could even make a tent out of it while camping. Pat
