Routing for washer fluid line

Post by johnscf »

I’m having a hard time figuring out how to get the washer fluid line from the engine bay up into the cowl I don’t see an opening on the engine fire wall that connects to the cowl area. I’m fairly sure it T’s off in the center of the cowl and runs left and right to the squirters. I just can’t figure out how to get it to the T in the cowl

I don’t know my routing is factory, but the hose goes through the outermost electrical grommets into the interior, then over to the center of the cowl, above the heater, then up into the cowl forward of the cowl drain hose There is a grommet under the cowl vent.

IF the high car is like the low car and has the sheet metal supports that are perpendicular to the brake and clutch pedals then there will be some holes in them. On the low car the tube routes through the back holes next to the firewall and then through the cowl.

We need to have people take photos of things as they get installed under the dash. I'll try to make sure I do that when I put the 66 together.

Here you can see the ones in the low car. Guess there's only one hole.
