Just to share what i've done on my 69 2000

Brake shoes from Raybestos 359PG
Brake MC from Raybestor MC 39561 -> tank a bit high, need base cut not to hit the hood!
Wheel cylinder from Raybestos WC 37214

What was strange is that my mechanic did not need any thread adapter like 3/16-24 female - 10mm metric male and could screw it by hand without effort before thightening.
Previous onwer might have made the change. Who knows.

I've Googled the Raybestos WC37274, and every specification I've found has indicated a Bore diameter of 0.594" ....I don't know what to make of that, seems considerably smaller than the 3/4" or 13/16" Roaster cylinders I'm familiar with...

That is a 510 rear cylinder. It has 10mm fittings which are not correct for any year roadster. -yes-3/8-24 will fit, but the fit is sloppy and dangerous in a brake application. .594 is a significantly smaller cylinder, which will change the bias of the front-rear braking (in this case making the rear brakes less effective=longer stopping distance)

Specs seem to be liquored up. 0.594 is about a 19/32 bore. That just doesn't exist with a Datsun that I know of. I have seen that 0.594 spec listed along with a 13/16 spec. in the same listing (early 510 I believe was 13/16)

But as JT says the elephant in the room is the 10mm fitting. These things are pretty cheap. I wonder how bad you would FUBAR up one of these with a 10mm fitting by chasing it with a 3/8-24 tap to determine if it ruins it or makes it less sloppy? I believe Rising Sun had / has made new rear hardlines that I bought a couple years ago for my parts stash. I asked him (Don? forgot the name) about making the same lines but with 10mm fittings so you could use the cheap 510 cylinders. He thought it was something to consider but......

Chasing it with a 3/8 tap won't do anything, since the 10mm nominal bore is already too big (hence the sloppy fit) Yes, if you are going to use 510 cylinders, the best way to do it is custom hard lines with 10mm threads at the cylinders. Honestly, the cheapest way is virtually never the best, just get the right cylinders...
