Hello, I am John Smith, Attorney At Law for the recently deceased Mr. & Mrs. Fairlady of Tampa, FL, formerly of Nigeria (of course!). The bank has recently issued me a notice to give away part of their lucrative estate. I have a rare Datsun Roadster hard top in my possession for immediate disbursal. All I require to execute this transaction is for you, said individual, to pick it up at your expense. I very much look forward to your swift response. Kind regards.

(Free to whoever wants this beauty. Missing rear glass. Take a vacation and come to Florida. Jeff)

As a kid my mom always told me don’t take candy from a stranger and don’t get in their car.

I feel like this is the grown up version. Come to my house to get free car parts

We were taught not to talk to strangers and not to get into cars with strangers. And then they invented Uber. Doh!

On a side note, very sad story. A few days ago here in Tampa, a Univ. of Tampa student opened the door of a car he thought was his Uber and the driver shot him dead. Not to get political, but Florida has this "Stand your ground" law. It will be interesting to see the outcome. He could have just said "Get the F#@$ out of my car!" Not much of a threat to his life by opening a door. He didn't have to shoot him dead in the street.
