front brakes brass block

Anybody know a source for the brass junction box that the flexible brake line runs to? I’ve checked the site vendors and don’t see that it’s offered by any. Unfortunately I need two. Looks like both side are seeping

Is it OK to use Teflon tape on the threads?

General advise has been against using Teflon tape (or anything else) on brake line fittings. Some say you can use a liquid sealant - I wouldn’t, but that’s a personal call.
That’s a tough part to source new if it can’t be fixed. However, anyone who has done a brake upgrade/conversion may have their old ones still laying around somewhere. Michael (Spriso) comes to mind considering how many he must have done.

I will have to check when I take them apart. I hadn’t gotten that far and was planning on buying new flexible lines to replace the ones that run to the block and when I was looking at the originals I noticed the leak at the block. The lines I looked at buying didn’t mention coming with a washer. As long as I get the correct size will just a regular copper washer work?

Just went out and looked and the washer is there where the flexible line goes into the block. It looks like these are leaking where the hard line from the caliper goes in.

Just want to confirm that on both left and right blocks:

LEAKS: Where the hard line connects
NOT LEAKING: Where the flexible line w/ copper washers connects

If the answer to both is YES, then a) that's weird that both sides would fail simultaneously, and b) that I'd be double-checking the flares on the hard lines.

agree it’s strange but the prior owner used 4 inner calipers instead of 2 inner and 2 outer and i think the threads on the hard lines might be the problem and not completely seating in the outer calipers i put on

There is a reason for inner and outer calipers. Like bellybuttons, some of the fittings are innies and some of the fittings are outies. Mix them up and the flair fitting won't seal!
