early vs late r16 exhaust manifolds
I'm helping my stepson get his '67 on the road. Have sourced a good used exhaust system from a late model R16. The early exhaust manifold has a different mounting system. Can the late manifold interchange with the early one? See pics of early manifold and late exhaust flange mount. TIA Pat

Re: early vs late r16 exhaust manifolds
The manifolds are basically the same, so swapping the late manifold on and then the head pipe, and you should be good.

Re: early vs late r16 exhaust manifolds
I'm always happy to help! Lots of people prefer the later manifold as they leak less.
