First, I cannot say enough good things about T3. They've been over and above responsive and helpful. That said, I have run into multiple issues that I need not go into now. The key thing is:

"THIS KIT WILL NOT WORK WITH THE STOCK 14-INCH STEEL WHEELS!!!"

I have asked T3 to update their product description to clearly state that. I never would have bought these if I had known that up front. I highly recommend you request their fitment template before ordering.

Because of this and the other issues, I'm not sure yet what I'm going to do.
Had a chance to some spacers and alternate 14-inch wheels.

These were only test fits with the fasteners lightly snug. It appears the stock steel wheels might work with ¼-inch spacers. The other two wheels seemed to clear the Wilwood caliper without spacers. I’m wondering if that’s because the widths are 5.5-inch and 6-inch vs the 4.5-inch on the stock.

Probably more a product of alloy wheels rather than steel.

I ended up just removing mine. We’ll see how that works. Thanks

Just for anyone wondering.. I currently have the Volvo brake conversion on a 14 inch steel wheel (and it fits). Was looking to get the Techno Toy Tuning Wilwood set; as the TTT website says it should fit on the 14 inch steel wheel. The Willwood site says theirs won't even fit a 15 or 16 inch Watanabe rim. So I thought the TTT willwood caliper might be "Micro" enough - but to check using the template. It doesn't fit for me on my 14 because the caliper fouls on the taper inside the rim. So check!

i am just about ready to sell my two kits that i have had made from blue hands fabrication. blue hands fabrication made a wilwood kit that fits under the late and early 14 inch steel wheels. i can confirm as i have the proto kit on my 70, i swapped both steelies on and they clear. if you want to have modern caliper design and pad selection its the way to go. i have the CAD file for the brake mount and have the info for what rotor works(its a G20 rotor). i ask that you do not email or contact mklotz though. he wants to get out of making parts for stuff and does not want to be bugged right now.
