2022 -South to North Solvang Datsun Roadster Classic

Post by raylim »

Hi All,

Fun Run to Solvang for those going on Friday (4/29/22).
Again, big thanks to Peter for starting this some years past.

Meet at:
Bolero (101 & Woodlake)
23130 Ventura Blvd.
Woodland Hills, CA 91364
between 9:30 AM - 10:00 for a 10:00 departure.

Nice back roads run to Solvang via 33 and San Marcos Pass. Stop around Ojai for lunch or another group would go straight up the 101.

Routes TBA or head directly straight up 101.

Feel free to reach out to me for any further details via email: ergodoc.raylim@yahoo.com

Attendees (so far): Mr&Mrs. D, Mr&Mrs. S, Tim, Todd, Gary, Cody, Peter, Karl, me&Ron, and you?

Hope you can join us!

I’m going to be in Solvang on Thursday. If others are there early, maybe we could meet your group in Ojai for lunch.

I'll plan on seeing you guys at the bowling alley on Friday morning. I'll be in my silver Z. Maybe we can take a similar route to last year. Hard to believe it has already been a year since that.

Nissantoy, if I can go, it looks like I'm heading out SUPER early, and West of you to visit my friend in Santa Barbara.
Thanks, enjoy!

Great route Ray. I just want to point out that the turn from the 150 to the 192 sneaks up on you, and the signage for it is minimal, so be on the lookout for it. We could also take the 101 to the 23 north. At the north end of the 23 I'll usually transition to the 118 west, get off at the first exit (Princeton) and then wrap around to Spring street. This bypasses some of the surface traffic on Los Angeles Ave. But we can play that one by ear.
