I am reassembling my dash and have all the wiring connected to the gauges, speedometer, tach and oil pressure line attached but I can’t remember where to run the odometer cable from the reset knob to the speedometer. Does it run above the steering column or under? In either position its seems like it’s too long and is so stiff it makes it hard to push the dash forward to where the dash bolts in. The space from the reset knob to the back of the odometer is only a couple inches but the cable is pretty long

Should run under the steering column and forward a bit to take up the slack and not introduce any sharp bends. A zap strap holds it forward on the column.
