I registered, and I'll be there, albeit in my girlfriend's Celica, since the roadster isn't ready yet. Looks like an awesome event.

Get those roadsters ready and registered for the March 19 rally!
It's going to be an epic showing of Japanese classics...think JCCS mixed with a little Breakfast Club Rallye...admire the cars before seeing them in action!

Just under a month out from March 19, and registration for Tokyo Calling is over 2/3 full- pretty impressive list of Japanese tin on the roster so far, and growing every day. Sign your roadster up and spread the word!

Now, for the roadster-specific report...because the turnout was stupendous!

What a joy to see these two rolling in:

Not one, but TWO roadsters with factory, OEM hardtops.

Note all of the stainless trim and weatherstripping, Ian had to source all of it himself!

Also note the rear clip an structural support:

Man the OEM tops sure do look great...ok enough hard top talk!

Lots of roadster owners with familiar and new faces!
I counted 6 roadsters. Pat S. owns this 1970 Datsun 2000. He had it dyno tuned at Z Car Garage, full report soon! I took a guess what it dyno'd at and Pat was shocked that I was spot on

You might recognize this beast, it's Alvin's (Leadpaw) 3.4LGM -powered SPL!

As I f I didn't get my roadster fix on the rally, the following day I was visiting the Filoli estate with my family when I spotted this KA24-powered roadster in parking lot!!! It was nice meeting you Ed!

I was lucky to drive the 1965 Nissan Silvia for 300 miles. I'll outline that experience in a different thread.

Join us on the next BCR Rallye!
