Wish I had multiple roadsters! Family lives next door in Ithaca and now it's become a tradition to at least come to Watkins Glen for the Friday Grans Prix festival. But the grandsons have also started to attend Sat eve roadster gathering. Fingers crossed and looking forward to seeing everyone healthy and happy.

Just heard that the border is closed to us Canadians for at least another month. We were hoping that we could drive down after Canada opened our borders to the US on August 6th but not to be.This now makes 2 yeas that we've missed the Glen. (blame Delta)
We hope everyone that attends has a great time & we'll see you next year.

We will meet at the Scale House on Rt 414 Thursday night for a meet and greet. https://www.scalehousebrews.com/
Friday is the Vintage festival and most will go to the Glen for the festivities and in the late afternoon and some will meet on Datsun hill to watch the vintage cars run the original Grand Prix road course.

http://grandprixfestival.com/index.html

Saturday morning around 10am we will meet at the Lakewood winery, https://lakewoodvineyards.com/ for a spit and buff and after we will take a ride through the wine country and gather for an informal lunch at Champlin Beach just outside of Hammondsport NY. The ride this year is in the remembrance of our good friend Marty Lind who passed away unexpectedly and we will keep his memory in our hearts as we travel the roads he so loved with his family and friends for so many years.

Just as last year due to the ongoing Covid restrictions, we are not planning on having an awards dinner and we will plan to play it by ear if we want to get together somewhere for an evening get together.

We miss all our friends from north of the border and hope that by this time next year that we can welcome everyone back and turn this thing back around.

I've only been involved for the past several years, but know for some this has been a great get together on the East coast for over twenty years! I know of at least six or seven of us will be there and you can chime in below if you plan on attending. I've heard Ed Unkel has made some shirts and will bring his roaster. I'm sure Dave will be there. Kathy will show up as well as the two Joes. Mike from Ithaca usually participates as well as some friends from Long Island. I'm not sure but this might be the start of a good Party!
We hope to see you there.
