Note to Self

Note to self. When you use a drill motor to circulate oil through your freshly rebuilt engine, don't forget to plug the hole for the oil sending unit! It is amazing how much oil will shoot out that hole in mere seconds.

Now that is interesting. I dug around in my parts bin and found that this is a hose and read about the unusual ends on it. I will need to find an M10 1.25 cap nut or some other way to cap off the hose to circulate the oil. I will probably order a new hose from Dean when I install the engine. No doubt, this car is an adventure!

I think I spun the pump with a drill without the pedestal mount for the dizzy on it, discovering that oil comes out the flex oil feed line pretty quick! Doh!
