Hi everyone
I wanted to get some opinions on something I found in my oil pump today. I just got the head back from the machinist and am hoping to begin reassembly next month. I disassembled the oil pump this afternoon to have the gears treated and came across some scratches on top of the oil pressure relief valve. Is this something that I need to be concerned about? The pump is supposed to be new and was bought through Mazworx when I had them machine the bottom end, but after my experience with them, nothing really surprises me at this point. Thanks for the opinions and thoughts.
