Early 1600 firewall braces

Post by david premo »

Now available 1600 single master cylinder left hand drive firewall braces are done. $42.00 plus shipping and all hardware for installation included. Send orders to dave@tuning4performance.com
California residents do have a sales tax charge.

Thanks,
Dave

Also I would appreciate it if no one purchased one for any the other vendors to reverse engineer one.

Will these work on a 1500?
I remember when no one wanted the 1500s......

I’m not sure if they will. I can sell you one and you can try it.

Would you post a picture of your brace? I would like to see how it compares to the one I made for my 65 1500 some years ago.

So FYI to anyone in the United States that wants a firewall brace, $42.00 for the brace and shipping is going to be $8.30 USPS small box flat rate. Anyone else outside of the US it’s going to be whatever shipping is to your country. If you’re in California I have to charge you sales tax.
Thanks, Dave

Hi Dave,
Are you considering a right hand drive version?
1965 Nissan Silvia (CSP311) for total restoration
1978 260Z finally on the road (Rebello 3.2L)

I need a firewall off a right hand drive car, the section is critical to designing a firewall brace that works. If anyone has a right drive car that’s going to scrap I could definitely design one.

Dave just had more braces made and they should be available next week. He is in the process of moving his business which has kept him quite busy.
