Wheel opinion please

Post by Habitat.pat »

I have a set of alloy rims on my car that i either need to get repaired or replaced. I would like opinions on whether they are a good match. They are off 200sx. There are three problems with them:

Fronts require 1/4” spacers to clear calipers

Center caps are almost impossible to find

They are hub-centric & need to be converted to bolt-centric.

Thanks for your input.

Peace,
Pat

I think that depends on how much you like them and what your budget is. How much to convert to hub centric and buy center caps vs. buying something else that you like just as well will help you decide.
They do look pretty good on your car.

I need one cap now but would stock up for future needs. I’m finding them for under $50 each.

I Could do the conversation myself on a milling machine w/rotary table. I’d need to buy the inserts & special mill bit which will cost about $150. Local shop would charge about $250. I like doing as much of my own work as possible but for the price difference I’d probably have it done.
