Thank you all for the kind comments. Also kind of you not to mention the shaky camera work (that’ll be the last time we hire that old man off the street).

Horsepower should be around 300, and torque a bit higher than 325. It is fairly easy to get 500 horses out of an LT1 (a number of folks have), but high performance was not a priority with this build. It’s actually a rather mild-mannered street cruiser with the few mods it has.

I do admire the skills of those riders who have coaxed 140+ mph out of the little ¼ liter Yamaha, and those drivers (some on this forum) who have successfully raced 311s competitively. Having the skills of neither, I am happy to wrench on them and hope not to become one of those who show up on YouTube videos in the “Fails” category for drifting into a curb or oak tree.

Also quite happy to be a member of this knowledgeable and helpful roadster community.

Stay safe everyone.

Nice looking install on a very nice car. The yellow roadster looks nice as well. I bet the bike just screams at high rpm’s! There is just something captivating about high reving small displacement engines. While torque gets the work done screaming engines put excitement in the work.
Nice collection!
