Wiring at the coil

Post by spl310 »

I don't have the wiring diagram and car handy here, but I have a question. What configuration should the wires to the coil, distributor and resistor be in? I want to make sure that all is correct. Thanks in advance!

RE:Wiring Coil

Post by S Allen »

Sid,

I assume you are working on your 67.5 s liter. The B/W wire should pass through the resistor and then on to the positive side of the coil. The black wire should come off of the negative side of the coil to the dizzy. I am going from the wiring diagrams as all of my roadsters are running with the Gary Boone EI setup.

I really want one of those Gary Boone distributors, but my budget does not have the space for it right now. Thanks for the help!
