I finally did a feature on this wild street/race Z, enjoy!

Randy's 1970 Datsun 240z. This wild, Series 1 street/track build has suspension/running gear from the #46 BRE 240z race car. Providing room for the 275/335-width tires and Panasport C8 wheels is an authentic Pandem Rocketbunny aero kit.
The engine is a 3.2L L-series running 12:5:1 compression, triple-Mikuni ph44s, a Fujitsubo header and glorious BRE-style exhaust. Running gear includes a close-ratio ZX transmission, OS Giken LSD for the 4.11 R180, ZCG CV Axles and ZCG Big-Brake Kit (race version).Topping it all off is the Porsche 934-inspired livery.

Nice write up. I wished the Roadsters had the same selection of parts to build from. An incredible car for sure. Will we see it at Solvang?

Hi Greg,
No, this Z resides in Georgia where it is part of a large collection of cool Datsuns. You can see Randy's "museum" here:
