Trimming rear fender for larger wheel/tire selection

But what do you mean by "trim"?
Cutting? Re-forming? Rolling? Flaring?

That car is very well done and flows very well.... a tricky thing to get right on these little cars. He has quite a few photos of the car on instagram too I believe.

I have done it to the rear on mine now. It's actually not difficult but does require cutting the stock body up and welding on a new flare. I had mine made specifically for the roadster by a shop out in California (Ulterior Motives). You'll need to give them exact dimensions of what you are looking to build. One thing I will caution you if you do decide to do this type of flare in metal is its very difficult to get right due to the design of the rear 1/4 on these cars. It dives in dramatically about half way through the flare which ends up making your toe look out of wack (which of course being a sloid axle, isn't possible). We ended up trimming the flare about 10 times before we were happy with it, and if I'm honest I still think it could have been better. Anyway, here's a quick pic:

Sure thing! The car isn't quite completed yet, I'll need to revamp my build thread here soon I reckon. Here's a crappy shot of the whole car:

So we start with a little bit of trimming to make room for the new inner fender..

Once we are happy with the shape of the wheel tub which shapes the fender, and with everything that runs in the fender, we rivet on the new fender..

A little bit of paint and there is room for an 11 inch slick..
