One of my favorites so far. What a beautiful car and appears very well done. I normally don't like darker wheels but these work really well with the paint and don't disappear. Love it.

Can't we just have one solid '67 2000 auction on BaT
We need a win.

Lots of them have been solid, this one will jump. I am surprised how many people are ok with non disclosed body swaps though. It’s so odd, I keep getting told "it’s no big deal" but then people get mad when it’s brought up. If it’s no big deal, why not disclose it?

Wow Ted, did you know you're not worthy of commenting on that car. From the comments

It's really sad, especially coming from Mike Young.
I'm also salty that my driving video request was voted as "non-constructive" :(
#585 deserves top-tier representation, and this ain't 'it, imho!

Beautiful car, but the "trust me and my history" antics from the seller rather than a simple, clear, current representation would save the ensuing drama.

Mark, re: body-swap...I agree it was absolutely necessary to disclose and make clear in those previous Mike Young car auctions where "original paint" was advertised...but this is a 20year+ old restoration and nobody asked so far :D I'm sure it would be a nice selling point to know if the body was replaced as part of the restoration or is actually still original to the frame...either way is informative.

I hope this is a lesson to future BaT listers, especially roadster owners...include high-quality photos and a comprehensive driving video...or hope that a collector will just grab it sight unseen.

RE: transmission commentary...a *potential* transmission refresh is chump change in the realm of '67 2000 ownership  Or maybe you just keep changing the transmission fluid

Ps...I'm available to photoshoot and craft a driving video for your BaT listing if you like!

Reserve not met and now the nasty comments come out. I guess asking about condition is now "trolling" and Ted is somehow the bad guy?
Mentioning the synchro was iffy when you owned the car is bad, but re-stamping a block makes you an expert restorer? How odd.
