LS differential

Need help identifying this LS differential. I acquired it a number of years ago with a bunch of other parts from an old racing associate getting rid of his affliction. I believe it was used in a Roadster at one point but doesn’t look exactly like the H190 units I have seen. There is a spacer pressed on to the journal adjacent to the ring gear mounting face. Dimensionally everything seems correct but there are no setup dimensions stamped into the case. I am aware of some references to R160,180,200 but don't know exactly what this is. Any help or concerns over its use appreciated.

It's been so long since I've seen my LSD that I can't help you identity yours, but I do know that some of the ring gears for the H190 do require a spacer.

I read that to put a LSD unit on my 4.38 rear end Id need a LSD with the spacer... I had a LSD unit also, I should compare mine with your pics to see if I can spot the difference

IIRC, 38420-A9980 is for the 9 tooth pinion and 38420-16330 is for the 8 tooth pinon.

Thanks for the photos. If I had to guess I would say the one I have looks like the one on the right as the case is shorter than the others I have seen in the past. As mentioned there are no setup numbers stamped into the case as yours show and the spacer is unusual. I have made a sketch showing some dimensions as closely as I can measure them. Unfortunately I am not planning on using in my car so will put it on ebay in hopes that someone will recognize it and have a use.
