68 v 69-70 turn signal switch surround

Post by tjp »

Are the differences between the 68 and 69-70 surrounds very apparent?

Or, better question: can someone post a picture of one or the other please?

Or, best question: is this one shown a 68 or 69-70?

thanks

If the screw holes are on the bottom then it is just like my 68 (with the key on the left)
I have a non stock ignition in the factory spot though.

Alex,
Which switch did you use for your 68?

Did you check Rallye's site?
Seems to me like I've seen someone (Ross maybe?) post that there is a difference in the size of the hole for the ignition switch.
Can't find it now and memory being what it is, it might be that voice in my head.....

Greydog: Listen to the voice in your head. I have seen two different diameters for the lock cylinders in these. I don't know when the change happened.
