Sorry location is probably an important thing. Im in northern washington up on whidbey island. And yeah saving a car if you can is totally worth it. Why scrap an iconic car when money can make it whole again. I mean its only money. Cant take it with me.

Yup = so just update your aVATAR - there os a bunch of people in your area who love these cars
There is a group - DROPS -datsun owners of puget sound - great people - just OLD (Ted) etc. Very active, they even drive down to SoCal - and quite quickly.
Get in contact, they have a wealth of information and are cool people.
