Door Lineup Problem ?

The drivers side door on my 1969 Datsun SPL 311 Roadster seems to fit well everywhere except for the lower rear area where it sticks out some ! Any suggestions on how to remedy the problem ? Could the door be sprung or is it a line up problem ? THANKS FOR YOUR HELP !!!

Hmm... sounds like an autobody detail issue.

If the door is historically straight along with the body then you might want to check:
1) the rubber weather stripping for even resistance
2) if the car-side door latch post is straight
3) if the door-side door latch is straight
4) tweak the door hinges to get a proper fit. A minor off center in the front compounds towards the rear.
5) if your door is actually tweaked.
