NO! The U20 uses 44phh's. The addhe (I'm pretty sure) is a totally different carb. I think I got hold of a set of these once and absolutely nothing but the main fuel jets was interchangable. A U20 should have 44's on it. You could use 40's but you'd likely not flow as much at the top end.

hello minh...
nope... i believe that u20 are 44phh.
but because there are serveral models out there... you must be careful on which one you purchase. the main problem is getting the correct linkage. i think les at classic datsun has a solex setup for sale...(?)
but if you want to run 40s(phh) i heard that it was possible.

take care

Are these the same Solex 44mm PHH factory installed on the Mercedes 190sl, the Alfa Romeos 2000, 2600?

Solex's

No, those aren't the same either. Those carbs are solex's, not mikuni's. The solex's roadsters use are made under license by mikuni but they're not exactly the same. The MB or alfa solexes should fit on the datsun manifold but as they are different carbs, you're sort of on your own as far as jetting and such. I don't know if any of the guts of those carbs are the same as the mikuni version. I thought I saw some 44phh's on www.club4ag.com classifieds this week. You'll see them for sale at dime quarterly too from time to time.
