Forum Maintenance Sunday 28 Feb

Post by S Allen »

I did not get a chance to do my updates today so I will try again next Sunday the 28th. The forum will be unavailable during the time I am working on it. I am trying to improve the search function by dropping the current index and recreating a new one. I discovered today that this feature was broken during the last update. Thanks.

So, I got the update completed and fixed a couple of issues I am sure no one noticed. Kind of glad I did not get my work done last weekend as there was a new version update available this morning. So I went ahead and installed it. I blew the old search index away and am in the process of building a new search index. I cannot promise searches will be any better but it sure cannot hurt, I am working on building a totally new web site with wordpress. The entire web site should be mobile friendly. Need to move on from the 90's when I originally started this. Any way-we were not down for long today. Enjoy.
