Another rota rb question

Post by SERE Nate »

I just purchased a 67.5 1600 and I want to order some tires before it gets here. I like the hyper black with polished lip. I have no idea what offset is or what it affects. My roadster is stock without rolled fenders. I wouldn't know how to roll them anyways.

I found these and want to pull the trigger.

Every car is different. That being said, those are about as close to a 'yes, it fits' as you can get.

I was leaning towards 16x7 but was told not to go that way due to limited tires and harder to fit. Thoughts before I pull the trigger?

Maybe you should consider waiting on the bling, and get the car in and address any safety concerns first...

Good tires imo are addressing a safety issues. I might as well get the wheels at the same time I'm looking at $500 for something that totally transforms the look of the vehicle.

Here is the car that I'm getting. Badly needs tires

You haven't seen it in person, have you? It's your money, do what you want. You may be putting lipstick on a pig, or it may need tires. I'm willing to bet that you will find things that need attention more than the cosmetics of wheels.

I have face timed with him and he showed me everything that I wanted to see. Even drove me around the block.

I have those rims with 195/50 tires on my '69 sr20 project. If you are planing any upgrades, they clear the 300zx front calipers and rx7 rear end calipers fine. No fender clearance issues either. Pat p.s. your car looks like a pretty good start
