These parts are new and made in the USA. They are proper alloy steel and heat treated where appropriate. The people that made them in the Chicago, IL area had many years experience manufacturing timing components and other automotive parts for car manufacturers and the aftermarket.
These items have been continuously available and in use for about 10 years with excellent performance. Some of the original Nissan gears were made from cast iron that does not wear as well as alloy steel.
Four piece complete sets are available for $695. Some individual gears are available.
