I like the way a stock rim looks but at some point would like to run a bigger brake kit as well. Curious if any found a 15 inch rim that has right offsets. Thanks.

15, 16 and 17s have all been used.....

IMHO, 16s are the best.....that's what Alvin has on his......I think RCMiKe might also have 16s.

I have VTO 15s 15x7 12mm offset.....I think 15-18 mm offset is better...cars vary.....

I have a buddy running a set of 15" steel wheels off a Triumph TR6 (on his 66 1600) I think... They look great...

David, did your friend use an adapter to make the TR6 wheels work? I've had a couple of sixes and believe they have a different bolt pattern than Datsun.
Mike, I'm glad you brought this up as I've wondered the same thing but haven't taken the time to ask, hope someone may have insights on this.

If I am not mistaken that's Michael Spreadbury's car he built/has been building for his wife and if I recall correctly, they we custom modified to fit.

Are those the same wheels front and back? Don't look like it but that might be the modified wheels / angle.

If 16's are preferred, are there any 16 steelies that would fit a roadster?

I found some Nissan 15" rims, 15x at least 5", maybe 5.5". They have 195 series tires on them now, but I'm thinking of going to 185's.

I have to use spacer-adapters which I would prefer to not have to use but the offset of the wheels requires them. Anyway, they look different, slightly, and they say Nissan on them which adds to the ruse.

And when I get around to attaching the hubcaps, the wheel lugs & centers won't give it away!
