Weber linkage help??

I am test-fitting my canon manifold and weber 40DCOE's on my R16 and trying to figure out how to work the linkage with the stock accelerator cable. Anybody out there have any experience with this?
Tips, or better yet, tips with photos, greatly appreciated.
