headlight relay kit

Suncoast-classics makes a headlight relay kit for 2 lamp systems that I was wondering if anyone on here has tried with our cars. Looks extremely simple to install (great for me as I am challenged when it comes to electrics), price is right.

I want to go up to Hella 80/100 lights obviously and this would eliminate the strain on our systems.

Anyone have any feedback on these?

Welcome, I see you are a first time poster. Do you have a link to the kit? I think many here have tried the set from Victoria British or Moss motors - not sure which, but they have a kit that has been well documented here on the forum.

Didn't mean to imply you were a total newbie, just that it appears that that was your first post. Under your Forum name at the right is your posting total, you are now up to two!
Anyway, in the tech wiki are a few posts:

I have the Victoria British set up with 100 watt high beams. Easy to install and works as advertised.

I also have the British Victoria setup. I modified mine so I can use the existing headlight pigtails. I have wrapped the yellow with black tape.

Copterpilot - I have the same kit: Where did you get the correct connectors? I remember there was a vintage connector maker listed a while back but can't remember the name. How did you know how to wire into the connectors?

Cheers
James

As not option mentioned, the site is http://www.vintageconnections.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. If you follow the colors in my pictures everything will work as it should. The headlight connections will fit normally as before through the fender. There is a plug on the harness that plugs into one of the existing plugs to the lights. I can send bigger pictures if you'd like.

Victoria British it is! Since you guys have used this one and I have heard that a lot of the stuff on Ebay is Chinese junk, I will go with this one. Not to imply that suncoast-classics is crummy either. That is what this forum is for to find out what works and what does not. I want to be able to SEE at night.
