Any plans to replicate for the twin pipe like on my 1600? I prefer the twin tip look - just a preference.
Costs? This is another gorgeous part that I am interested in!

I'll put up a post in New Reproduction Parts when I have a couple more on hand. Anyone who wants to pre-order one can PM me.

Price will be about the same as a NOS factory part from a vendor. Of course, these will never rust out and the chrome won't rust and flake off as the originals do.

I have handmade the early style in the past and there is about twice the labor in welding and fab work. If enough guys prepaid for them possibly. The SS cans would be professionally manufactured as these were.

@linda, the must be yellowing, even my Stainless bumper on top of the exhaust does that, but its very easy to polish in about 1 minute and shine like new again.
This resonator looks awesome, great work.

Was wondering if anyone has a video of the sound with these installed? Muffler and resonator stick true to stock sound or different? They look amazing. Saving for system.

My resto has been stuck at complete chassis for some time now, but since the drivetrain is complete I was able to slip Jim's resonator on and it definitely had a better tone than the turbo muffler I was running (mellow without the tin can sound I had). I have the 2 inch version and his SS muffler, but did not have the time to install as I want all SS pipes now and I used up one of my nights at home to catch up with Scott on his Roadster journey...the whole family went to dinner with him and I had an evening ride in his 1600 with our beautiful Savannah mild evening weather... Great guy, great car...GREAT Roadster community!

Is this the same part? The picture does not show the megaphone.

That's the muffler. The resonator goes on the end with the megaphone.

Correct, that is for an all Stainless Steel muffler available in stock size or 2", not the resonator/booster assembly. See the beginning of this thread for photos of the resonator/booster. I'll put up some better photos of the mufflers! jt

For 67.5 - 70, 1 3/4 is stock. ( I don't make the dinky one used on the very early cars). 1 3/4 is fine for 1600, 2L's, really respond to 2" . Jt

Well, I know what I'm getting for Christmas! I want the whole set up! Any audio clips of how a 1600 sounds with the full kit?
