I picked this baby up out in Washington state years ago for a hundred dollars. I bartered a 38 plymouth coupe for bodywork and a paint job and have been doing all the assembly with my father. It been a great time getting her going with my old man.

Wow - what fun. Enjoy your time with your dad. I always wanted to do something like that with mine, but it never happened. I hope you guys get it running and you can tool around in it with the top down.
Car looks good, by the way.

I'll buy that for $100!!! Ah, the good old days where comp parts were cheap, and cars were unloved (except by me!).

We went for a cruise today. Drove over to a neighboring town for dinner. It was a perfect day for it as it was as humid as a dog's mouth. I haven't even started going through parts for the top , that will be a winter project. I do need to by pass the heater as the shut off is stuck open and the legs got a little warm.

This is what she looked like when I got her. She was pretty much stripped down but all the parts were in the trunk except the gas cap.
