New Impact Wrench

Post by notoptoy »

Got a new toy, a new Aircat 1150 (ACA1150). I get ads from ToolTopia (tooltopia.com) from time to time and occasionally the deals are too good to pass up - though otherwise they are pricey in my opinion.
Read a lot of reviews on this impact wrench and pulled the trigger! (Pun intended). It has phenomenal removing power and is crazy quiet for an impact wrench. The reverse/forward and torque setting will take a bit of getting used to, but otherwise I highly recommend this!
(Oh yea, the price was $168 delivered) http://www.tooltopia.com/aircat-1150.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I also purchased one of these to replace my low budget one. The difference is AMAZING! I can now remove crank bolts that have been tight for 40 years.

The Aircats are also supposed to be much quieter than some other brands.
