New Photo Gallery

Okay, I installed a new photo gallery based on the latest Coppermine release. I have bridged it to the forum so it should work without having to log into the Gallery. The URL is http://www.311s.org/Gallery We have plenty of room to store pictures on the server. Please give it a try and feedback is welcome. Thanks.

This is cool! I gave it a try and seems to work well. How do we post a link of a photo gallery?

To post your pics in a thread just right click and View Image Info and use either the IMG or URL tag. Make sure you open the picture otherwise you will just get the thumbnail image.(small)

Is there a way to post an entire album as a link? I only use my Droid so I can't right click. Also, a lot of my pics are too large to post, but I was able to create an album with them. I can't post that pic that you just posted for some reason. Thanks for helping Steve.

SPL310, that's actually a pic of my new finished engine bay. I put an album together of before and after pics with this new coppermine setup. You can view it in my profile. I'm trying to figure out how to create or post a link to it. The color is Chiante Red. It's a Honda color from what I'm told. That's going to be my new paint color.

Any member can visit your profile and view your pictures. Pretty neat!

The link at the top is the old Photo Gallery, right? Maybe there should be another one to the Coppermine?

What is the limit on photo size? I just tried a 2.4mb picture and it's to big.

Right now it is 1 MB but I suppose I could bump it up. I did put a link in the top header called Gallery.

Posting your entire Gallery as a link-looks like the right click again and then pasting into the URL tag. I can bump the size of the pics up a bit.

So, I believe the new Gallery is functioning nicely. I prefer not to increase the maximum picture size at this time as the developers recommend against it. I put a Gallery Link in the header at the top.

And as Garm pointed out the View my pictures link in your user profile is fixed and points to your album in the new Gallery if you have one. This had been broken for quite some time.

At some point I want to do away with the old Gallery-so if you have pictures there please move them to the new Gallery if you want to keep them.
