Re: Are these solex velocity stacks?
I would say yes they are. The interesting thing is that they look to be magnesium based on the color off the oxidization. I've seen aluminum oxidize in a similar manor, but that was after sitting in a very wet environment for a very long time. Did you pull those out of a swamp someplace?

Thanks for moving the thread.
The they are about 1 7/8ths inner dia. So about 47mm. They feel like a very light strong metal.

I have a set of those on some Mikuni 40's -- I'd have to measure. You might have a set there for 44's.

Re: Are these solex velocity stacks?
Those can be used on either. If the 40s did not have the outer restrictors, then they look and fit just fine. If they have the restrictors, then they came with little short chrome jobs. Those that you have look like they are the mid length that were on a lot of the 44s. The stock ones for the U20 solex package were the long ones.

Re: Are these solex velocity stacks?
I have a set for 40's and a set for 44's that are different diameters but same length... maybe my 44 ones are for 50's?

Photo of OEM Nissan velocity stack for the 44PHH - at least what I got when I purchased the induction set directly from a Datsun dealer many, many years ago.
