I read the info on the Wix site and it made me feel those filters are best. I won't use a Fram.

Both do not recommend most Frams. As with most mass produced products these days, a few companies design and manufacture filters that are then branded and priced differently.

15208-H8920 is the long Nissan filter. 15208-H8903 is short.

I've been using the Wix 51515... It happens to be the same filter I use on my Mercury.. I seems oversize, but the seals on the filter match perfect on the base and there is no leaks, so I have been happy..

I am concerned...My u20 doesnt have this tube....should it?

I believe that without this tube, the oil can flows back, when you start the car there is for a short time no oil.
Horsepower is how hard you hit the wall,torque is how far you take the wall with you.
